Determine height and weight
Large items, heavy packages or palletized goods are easy for NORRLOG to handle. When shipping your items, we think in terms of pallets, packages, and slots. This way we make the best use of the space and calculate the best price for you.
WEIGHT
Pallet and goods
There is 25kg dead weight per pallet. Maximum weight of one pallet is 900kg.
SIZE RATIOS
The pallet
We use classic euro pallets. The dimensions of a pallet is 120 x 80 x 14.4 cm. The pallet has a net weight of 25kg.
Boxes (cartons)
About 30 standardized cartons can be packed per pallet. Since each item is often packed differently, pallet packing often has something of a Tetris feel to it.
Plug-in plates (slots)
Each box has 12 slots, which can be filled individually.
1 box = 12 slots
Cans
1 case = 3 pallets of beer
1 case = 3 pallets of beer 4 slots provide space for 1 cardboard pallet (tray). On a pallet there are 24 cans of 0.33l each.
Tetrapack / BIB
1 box = 6 tetrapack (BiB)
2 slots provide space for 1 tetrapack (BiB) with 3l content. Thus, in one box fit, for example, 6 tetrapack of wine.
Wine bottles
1 box = 12 bottles
Each slot has room for a 1l bottle / wine bottle. Thus, one box can fit, for example, 12 bottles of wine.
